Hey James,
I just wanted to tell you that what you are doing is inspiring. I am considering going to Ghana next summer for a pharmacy mission program and I am often back and forth with the decision, but hearing about your experience makes me realize it would be an experience I shouldn't miss. And you are right...it isn't about you. No matter how tired, irritated, or unhappy, always remember that you being there is making some children's lives so much better. God is good!

James!
I just wanted to let you know that I'm praying for you and the missions you're involved with there. I'm so glad you're having a great time and spreading God's amazing love.
And I thought I'd leave you two of my favorite verses...."Be still and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10) and "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness (1 Cor. 12:9)". I hope these bring you strength and rest when things feel like they are more than you can handle.
Best of luck with all that you do, I'll be praying for you!
-Whitney

Thanks for the words of encouragement. It's great to know that people are reading this and are affected by this mission trip. Like I've said a lot lately, I came for the orphans but the impact has been much larger than just for the kids.
